The JCDC’s mission has always been to promote Jamaica internationally. The Performing Arts Competitions they’ve established help them fulfil that duty every year by showcasing the talents of both aspiring artists and seasoned pros to the people of Jamaica.
The highly anticipated JCDC Competitions experienced a significant downturn in face-to-face competitions during 2020 and 2021, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
