Gender-based violence must be eradicated. Whether it be violence against women and girls or against males. When we are furious, we must alter our choice so that our behaviour does not mean we hurt others. Our entire society need to be on deck with this change.
Men are valuable to our society and are worth celebrating every day. The International Men’s Day forum is one such way that they are reminded of their worth and contributions. The stakeholders ensured that their hard work and diligence with building and maintaining a strong foundation did not go unrecognized.
Outstanding Men, Lead By Example. This was the themed youth of excellence forum hosted by the Bureau of Gender Affairs, in promoting the importance of positive contributions of men to the society.
On October 12th, the House of Representative gave its final approval to the Sexual Harassment legislation. The roll-out of its implementation will begin soon.
