More than three thousand residents in Boys’ Town will benefit from the new solar-powered well water infrastructure. The method is an example of an “All hands on deck” response to a critical issue. Friendships with Jamaica’s business community and global organizations helped complete the massive project.
Boys’ Town continues to benefit from the long-standing assistance of the VRCA, which has donated much-needed funding to this worthy cause. According to the organization, the donation from the Vinyl Records Collectors Association will fund ongoing development projects across the entire institution.
Empowering a neighbourhood only takes continued attention. The Rotary Club has practised this attention for over 100 years. Their newest project will focus on the Boys Town community to leave it much better than before.
