The Best Kept Street Competition from citizens in the Belmont, Cherry Hill community in Westmoreland ,ay be one example of affirmation action. Recognizing they have power, coupled with their will, this community is determined to be the answer to their challenges.
In Bluefields, the Best Kept Street competition is bringing community pride to a whole new level. In order to win a reward, residents will be judged on the condition of their own streets. During the competition, residents will also master new skills.
