The JCDC’s mission has always been to promote Jamaica internationally. The Performing Arts Competitions they’ve established help them fulfil that duty every year by showcasing the talents of both aspiring artists and seasoned pros to the people of Jamaica.
With assistance through the CATAPULT Grant, three hundred artists across the Caribbean region are moving forward with their careers. They applied, were chosen and granted up to US$500.
Jamaica showed up to Harvard with our Caribbean family and aced the same exam given to law students. We showed up and showed why we have such a hold on the entertainment industry. More and more individuals should take on this challenge and benefit from the knowledge.
