UN Women is supporting the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Principles ( WEPs). The WEPs are guidelines which are designed to support the fast-tracking of the process of gender equality. UN Women is being supported by the ILO and the EU to roll out the Win – Win Programme in Latin America & the Caribbean. Jamaica is the only Caribbean country selected to participate. The programme will span three (3) years. The focus is largely on private sector engagement and support to selected national machineries. We’re happy to be selected to benefit from the Win-Win programme.. Friday’s edition of the Ja Observer carries an article on the launch.
