Sometimes you have to stay quiet to drown out the noise happening all around you. We have learned so much during these past years. Now it’s time to look back at our COVID Blessings.
This special day should be spent highlighting exceptional mothers who have extraordinary qualities. There really isn’t another way to describe mothers. They are just remarkable and we love them because of it.
Screenwriters, copywriters, novelists, poets, journalists, etc., all take on the rewarding and challenging task of being an author. It can be a humbling experience, but at the same time, it presents to you the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on society with your body of work. It’s now time to take the first step and write.
Body shaming is painful and has the possibility to cause negative long term effects. Nobody should feel shame over their weight, clothing size, or body shape. We were all made differently and we are all equally beautiful. Let us be mindful of each other’s feelings. Always choose kindness.
Do you know that you’re special? Do you know that you are great? There is no other person in the world like you. You deserve to be loved not only by those around you but by the most important person in your life — YOU. Self-love and care is the most important investment you can make in your life. When you learn to love yourself, you teach everybody else how to love and treat you.
If we asked you and your best friend to define happiness, the two answers would most likely be different. Why is that? What is happiness really? Is it an emotion or is it a state of mind? This simple question is one of the most difficult in the world. How can happiness be defined?
Unfortunately, society decides what winning or losing means to individuals. But, shouldn’t losing be from that individual’s perspective? What if taking the initiative was a win? What if being able to compete was the goal. We need to rethink how, what, and why we judge.
Having seen the physical gathering on stage on the night of the Ms Universe celebration, our consciousness of the Covid restrictions as a people is called to question.
Each of us should increase our understanding of what mental health is all about. The more effort we put in, the wiser and accepting our society will be toward people who are experiencing episodes.
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Kindness is so powerful that it helps in improving your relationship with yourself and others. Always aim to be kind to everyone, you never know how far that one deed will go.
