Round three of the dancehall sound clash under the Reggae Month banner has ended. Tune for Tune, Dub for Dub was in play throughout the clash between veteran sound Jamrock and Ghetto Star.

The Dancehall sound clash is the boxing match of all sound systems who want to build, and keep popular. If you can’t manage it, just call yourself a disc jockey. If you can, well, you now have bragging rights. Reggae Month has one of the biggest Sound Clashes.

Birthed in the late 1970s, dancehall music is today heralded as Jamaica’s most impactful musical force. Its blend of sounds and creative dance moves continue to evolve while garnering mainstream success. It is fitting that we celebrate dancehall in its truest form during Reggae month 2022. Thanks to the many sponsors this celebration was a success.
