Under the Ministry of Education and Youth, this year’s National Youth Policy Summer Creative Challenge is now open. Participants between the ages of 15 and 28 are required to submit a creative piece focusing on at least one priority area of the policy.

The Heart Foundation of Jamaica’s Vic Higgs Memorial Golf Tournament will be held for the 29th time on July 9, 2022, at 6 a.m. at the Constant Spring Golf Course. The tournament continues to be an exciting fundraising event for the Foundation’s mobile screening programme, which provides Jamaicans with heavily subsidised heart screening services.
Jamaica joins with the rest of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) in commemorating the Forty-Ninth Anniversary of its establishment as elaborated in the signing of the Treaty of Chaguaramas on 4th July 1973.
