Kingsley Cooper, a renowned business savvy fashion icon, is credited with launching the careers of Jamaican-born models Jaunel McKenzie and Carla Campbell and several others.
Since its inception in 2001, his Caribbean Fashion Week has been seen as the leading fashion event in the Caribbean with his work gaining him recognition through a Lifetime Achievement Award at Caribbean Fashion Rocks!, New York’s signature event for Caribbean fashion and models.
He is Chairman and CEO of Pulse Model Agency, after he founded the company in 1980 with Hilary Phillips.
Over the years, he built Pulse into a fashion/entertainment industry powerhouse and an icon in Jamaican and Caribbean style, representing some of the world’s foremost models.
